Our Background
How We Got Our Start

Oak Cliff Opportunity Center (OCOC) is a focused on providing small businesses and non-profits with foundational skills and back office support similar to that of medium and Fortune 500 companies. The support includes financial management assistance, marketing plan development and execution to increase sales and a full back office team that allows for optimal operational performance. Since all businesses regardless of size require Operations, Marketing and Finance OCOC and its partners provide those services at bulk / discount rates.

PRO is a 24-month pilot, focusing on individuals ages 18-24, by addressing their lack of foundational skills, work experience, marketable skills and environmental trauma. PRO’s immediate mission is to produce a well-trained, qualified employee or successful entrepreneur. PRO’s approach is to train each participant as an employee who is qualified to own his or her own business.
Pathways To Independence
Entreprenuership
Pathway To Independence (PTI) is an initiative to provide entrepreneurial training, mentoring and financial support to youth, single mothers, hard to reach individuals from the streets and existing small business owners in Urban Communities. PTI requires the recipient to work hard and follow rules of the agreement in order to provide them with the greatest chance for success.
Child Support Beautification and Family Wellness Pilot
Strengthening Families
Child Support Beautification Pilot is an apprenticeship program designed for those that owe or are owed unpaid child support to help strengthen families. According to CNN Money (via the federal Office of Child Support Enforcement in 2012), over $100 Billion is owed to tax payers including 37.5 million parents.
The child support divide has kept children from a biological parent and has caused pure hate to exist in many families. Child Support Beautification will provide an opportunity to pay down back child support and help to heal families.
